JAME'  'ASR RULES

 

  •      Visitors are not allowed to take photographs inside the mosque, but  may take photographs outside the mosque

  •      Visitors are required to leave their video cameras, cameras, bags, etc at the security counter

  •      Visitors are not allowed to walk on the grass

  •      Visitors are required to remove their shoes before entering the mosque

  •      Visitors are prohibited from walking on the prayer mats.

  •      Visitors should  keep to the walkways on the granite floor

  •      Visitors should observe silence whilst inside the mosque

  •       Visitors are welcome to express opinions, give comments and sign the visitor's book before leaving the mosque

  •       Visitors should collect their belongings from the security counter before leaving the mosque

Note: The mosque is closed for visitors on the first day of Aidil Fitri and   Aidil Adha. Visitors are only allowed to visit the open courtyards during these days.

 

ATTIRE

The Mosque is the house of God for Muslims.  It is rich in religious values, which requires respect and good manners.  Visitors are requested to wear proper attire before entering the mosque.  Black robes or gowns will be provided for those who are not formally dressed.

 

SECURITY

  •       Visitors will be very much appreciated to co-operate with the staff of the mosque.

  •      Visitors are advised not to leave their valuables at the security counter, such as cash, jewelry, passport documents, etc.

  •      Visitors who are not in good health are not permitted to climb the minaret.

 

MOSQUE DISCIPLINE

The mosque security officers are given the right not to allow visitor enter  the mosque if he/she behaves improperly.
